Assigning spare parts to an asset requires that the asset has a Parts List ID assigned to the asset. Parts assigned to the Parts List ID. The same Parts List ID may be used on multiple assets. Parts can be added to the Parts List ID on the Dedicated Parts Tab of the asset or they may automatically be added if the check box to Add to Dedicated Parts is checked on the part master. Normally, free stock is not added to the parts list.
