The session includes hands-on training focusing on the new features in ePAC version 7.0 as compared to ePAC version 6.2. Previous ePAC application experience is required to participate in the course. Students must provide internet capable computer for this session

8:30 - 3:30

   Tuesday September 30, 2008:

 This workshop will discuss the dataflow between Microsoft Project and ePAC 7.0 using real world examples. Learn how to export Technicians, Labor Groups and Project Work Orders into a Microsoft Project file. Students will learn how to manipulate estimated labor times and work dates in Microsoft Project, then update ePAC with the changes. Session will also include basic Microsoft Project overview

8:30 - 11:30

This workshop will focus on maintenance performance indicators as they relate to labor productivity, materials management and asset productivity.  Examples of measurements and calculations will be presented and interpreted.  Participants will gain an understanding of some performance measurements for their organization as well as their implications.  A discussion of the role of Key Performance Indicators in "Managing Maintenance As A Business"® will also be facilitated.

    Wednesday October 1, 2008:

  Workshop:

Open forum to discuss current version of EPAC (6.2 or 7.0 Web). Opportunity to discuss any and all issues, questions on functionality, determine what may work best in your facility relative to the current version. This workshop will be the only opportunity to discuss the current version. All future workshops (Thursday and Friday) will focus on future development, and maintenance best practices training.
